About

Hi, and welcome to my site, I hope you enjoy your time here and find the information contained within the site useful and entertaining.

I have been a resident of Michigan for my entire life, I was born in the Canton area, and then in 1997 moved to Howell, MI. In 2010, I moved to Taylor, MI where I lived till 2016. In 2016 I decided it was time to move out of the downriver area to a nicer location, Flat Rock.

In 2017 I decided it was time to stop renting a buy a house. I moved from Flat Rock to Westland where I bought my first house.

I have been interested in computers and technology for as long as I can remember. I always have different computers running and testing various operating systems and software to broaden my knowledge of the IT and technology industry.

I was lucky enough right out of high school to get a job their as “the IT guy” taking care of day to day tech issues that came up. It was a great job that enabled me to get experience in the industry, while attending night college classes at National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Southfield. That was a great job while it lasted, but after about 2 years, the management company that managed the school as well as 3 other charter schools in the area made the dissension to go with a professional company to centralize and take care of the IT at all of the locations. After just a few short months, I was hired by SKD Automotive Group in Troy, MI as a Systems Administrator. SKD Automotive Group had 2 locations in MI as well as 3 in Canada. Again, as System Administrator, I was able to put all the knowledge from my time at NIT to good use and as always in the IT industry learn something new every day!

While I was working at SKD I was able to pursue another one of my goals and that was to get my Private Pilot’s License (PPL). I worked hard in what little spare time I had during the nights and weekends taking lessons and studying when I could, and after I a few years I was able to get all the required training and tests done and get my license! After getting my initial pilots license I continued in my spare time to build hours, and take some fun trips on the weekends, and at night after work.

A few months after, I made to be what I consider a big life changing decision. I decided that I was going to leave my job at SKD and pursue Aviation full time, attending a school that would enable me to get all the ratings that I needed to be an airline pilot, and would also help with job placement. After doing tons of internet research, and taking tours of a few schools, I decided to attend Airline Transport Professionals (ATP).

In late 2015 I decided it was time to pursue another one of hobbies Amateur Radio.
